What is www.texturizer.info?
is
a FREE highquality texture archive for everybody. The textures may be used for
commercial and non-commercial purposes - and it costs you nothing!
When do I need textures?
Whenever a picture or 3D object or a computergame must
have a realistic surface or attribute, a realistic texture is needed.
What is a texture?
A texture can be any graphical file like a picture of a brickwall, dirt, clouds,
and much more.
e.g.: You want to create a threedimensional room (maybe for a 3D-movie or a
computergame) with a brickwall, a wooden floor, a white carpet and a romantic
landscape behind the window. You can't just say to a threedimensional object,
to be a brickwall - but it is possible to give the virtual wall the attribute
to project a picture of a brickwall on its surface. And it's the same procedure
for the floor, the carpet and the landscape. Just give these objects the right
texture and they look like real.
The better the quality of a texture, the better is the quality your picture.
[ That's why we only offer you highquality textures ;-) ]
